Who I Am

I spent over a decade in pest control operations before starting this site. I ran routes, managed technicians, dealt with callbacks, and watched vendor after vendor pitch me software that would "transform my business." Some of it worked. Most of it didn't. And the marketing materials never told you which was which.

When AI tools started showing up in the pest control space, I saw the same pattern: big promises, polished demos, and very little honest information about what these tools actually do in the field. I started AI Pest Control Tools because I wanted a place where operators could get straight answers. Not from salespeople, not from affiliates who have never set a bait station, but from someone who has actually used these products on real accounts.

Every review on this site comes from hands-on testing. I sign up, run the tool against real pest control scenarios, and report what I find. If a tool is good, I say so. If it falls short, I say that too.

How We Make Money

This site earns revenue through affiliate partnerships. When you click a link to a tool and sign up, we may receive a commission from the vendor. This is how we keep the site running without charging readers for access.

Here is what that does not mean: vendors cannot pay for better ratings. A tool that pays us a higher commission does not get a higher score. Our rankings are based on testing, feature comparison, and how well a product actually serves pest control operators. If we recommend something, it is because it performed well in our evaluation, not because of the business arrangement behind it.

We disclose affiliate relationships on every page where they apply. If a link is an affiliate link, you will know.

Editorial Standards

  • No sponsored content without disclosure. If a vendor pays for placement, we label it clearly. We have turned down paid placements that required favorable coverage.
  • No pay-for-play rankings. Our tool rankings reflect testing results and operator value, period. Vendors cannot buy a higher position.
  • Hands-on testing required. We do not publish reviews based on press releases or demo videos. Every tool we cover has been tested against pest control workflows.
  • Corrections published openly. If we get something wrong, we update the article and note the change. We do not quietly edit published content.
